Your week, already read

Every Monday, before you sit down, Blake emails your team the whole week, already read. Up top, the overview a sales manager wants: a one-line read on how the week went, the live pipeline snapshot, and the Dealflow funnel showing where value is stuck. Underneath, a short to-do, the handful of opps that need a call this week, each a link straight to the deal. No dashboard to visit, nothing to set up. Always be closing.

Growing in Public: One API, Every Kind of Blog

Some blogs publish themselves on a schedule. Some publish the instant a product changes. Some wait for a person to sit down and write. They share almost nothing about how they work, and they all run on the same platform. Here is why we built Lavvus to hold no opinion about your cadence, your tooling, or your voice, and what running very different blogs of our own taught us about staying out of the way.

MEDDIC without the homework

Most teams agree with MEDDIC and quietly skip it, because filling in the scorecard is one more chore. But the answers are already in the email: the pain, the buyer, the champion, the deal size. Blake reads a forwarded thread, researches the company, and writes the qualification to the record for you. The rep opens a readout, not a blank form.

The leads we couldn't see

A CRM's worst failure isn't a lead it scores wrong. It's a lead it never shows you. Blake forwards leads in by email, and a guard meant to ignore your own internal mail was quietly eating the ones reps forwarded from their own inboxes. No error, no bounce, no row in the UI. Here is the bug, why silent drops are the most dangerous kind, and how we made sure a forwarded lead can never vanish again.

Growing in Public: Why Your Lavvus Blog Has an API

Most platforms treat this backwards. The dashboard is the product, and an API, if it exists at all, is a bolted-on afterthought with half the features missing. We built Lavvus the other way around. The post is the API. The dashboard is just a friendly face on top of it. Anything you can do by clicking, you can do with a request: POST a draft, PATCH a summary, attach tags, flush the cache. The clicking is optional.

Why Blake doesn't send your emails

When you compose an email in Blake, Blake doesn't send it. Your own mail client does. We hand the draft off pre-filled, pre-addressed, with a hidden BCC that loops back so the activity feed stays current. You skip the per-workspace SPF setup, the bounce handling, and the deliverability roulette of being just another CRM domain. Your prospect gets an email from you, not from some tool sending on your behalf. One click is the whole price.

Compose and reconcile

Blake now drafts your reply and watches your invoices. Compose Email turns a rated opportunity into an AI-drafted message with the right people on TO and CC, a tracking BCC that loops replies back to the same opp, and an editable preview before your mail client takes over. Revenue mirrors Moneybird invoices into Blake hourly, matches them to companies by email domain and name, and offers one-click links for the ones the sync cannot place.

Growing in Public: Canonical URLs, AI Readers, and the Distribution Layer

Lavvus is growing on both sides at once. The writers are different: more of them are building websites with AI sitting beside them and want a backend they can program against. The readers are different too: AI assistants are showing up in the access logs and citing posts the way Google used to. The platform is becoming a distribution layer. New canonical-URL control points search engines and AI crawlers at your domain. Webhooks tightened. Mailing wired in.

Attach the file

Blake now accepts the file your client actually sent. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, CSV, images, .eml, .msg, plain text, up to 50 MB per opportunity. The browser uploads direct to storage, bypassing the 4.5 MB function payload cap that was silently rejecting most real documents. Quota is re-checked against the actual stored size, not what the browser claimed. The 50 MB number in the panel header is real now.

Your pipeline as a spreadsheet

Blake just got a one-click CSV export of every opportunity in your workspace. Open Admin → Export, click Download CSV, and you get a spreadsheet with title, stage, owner, company, contact, deal type, value, computed TCV, fit tier, source, tags, next action, renewal date, and created date. Closed and lost deals included. UTF-8 with BOM so accents render right in Excel. Admin only. Available today.

Bring your Pipedrive with you

Blake reads Pipedrive's deals and people exports and lands every deal as an opportunity, with companies and contacts deduplicated by their Pipedrive IDs. Add the people export and contacts come through with real emails, titles, and LinkedIn. Re-uploads update existing rows in place, keeping the owner, fit score, and tags you added in Blake. Dry run is the default. Available today in admin settings.

Why your whole team should see the pipeline

The pipeline is the company. The marketing person who plans next quarter, the product manager weighing the roadmap, the new hire arriving Monday: all of them should see it. The CRMs that make that easy at five people, fifteen, fifty are not the ones charging by the seat. A field note on what changes when the whole team has access, the pricing model that makes inclusion the default, and the five questions to ask your CRM vendor before the next renewal.

Cadillac, steak knives, coffee, cold

Every inbound lead goes into one of four piles: Cadillac, steak knives, coffee, cold. A field note on why Blake borrows the Glengarry Glen Ross lexicon for its tier system, which pile quietly kills the most reps, and the discipline it takes to call a lead cold early and walk away without flinching. Plus why tier names beat tier numbers, what separates coffee from a pitch deck, and why calling a lead cold is the highest-leverage thing a rep does all week.
